CAREER CHANGE!?!?

I have been helping out my father at the grocery store for almost 7 months now. I was only suppose to stay an help for 6 months, until the store settled, and after that for me to move on. So now I am debating on what to do. Should I go and look for a job as a financial or buisness analyst or should I just go balls out and go to motorcycle mechanic school? I just started riding sportbikes 2 years ago and my passion for bikes grows with every ride. I would really love to motorcycle school, but I don't know if our current economy will be able to support my income, due to the fact that most people do most of the small work themselves and only save the big work for mechanics. hmm.. should I go or just settle in to finish my MBA program at University of Phoenix online program, in which I have 9 classes left, or should I go to Florida for bike school? HELP ME!!

Well, the way I see it that if you've gotten this far with earning your MBA, with that many classes left, just finish it man. Then if you still got that passion to pursue the motorcycle mechanic schooling deal, then do it. Think of it this way, ya gotta bring home the bacon right? Bacon's good and you need it to give you energy to do things and run around until you get the hang of things. Then if you are up for it and want dessert, go ahead! Dessert is good as well as having bacon! What I'm getting at is that its an indulgence of career and passion to thrive in a life of enjoyment! (Can't just have bacon, you'd get sick of it) So I hope this is some thought and good advice to make your career move.
Best of luck!

I know I'm your lil sis and you have way more experience than I do but here's what I think.
I know its great to do what you have a passion for but you have to ask yourself what you can settle for in the future. Just think about the pros and cons of both, what you'd want out of them and how long and hard you're willing to work for it. It's not in black or white, but it looks like one is safer than the other. If it was me, I'd go the safe way and let the bikes wait when I'm financially ready. If it really is a passion, it should always be worth waiting for and even more satisfying when you do get to it. But that's just me because I tend to play it safe. I'm not saying to always play it safe but I do want you to take care of yourself ya know? Mom, Dad and Ben want you to do the same thing so ofcourse we think it would be great if you finished your MBA to help you in the business or financial world. It wouldn't hurt ya know? Especially since you've already started and have just 9 classes left.
Ben and I know that you still have to live it up while you're young. I would say try to balance things but I'm beginning to realize how hard that is =(. Side note, remember what you told me. Reality check. What do you consider to be a satisfying lifestyle in the future, especially with what the economy demands nowadays? No matter what you do, finish what you begin and try to do it enthusiasticly because then no matter what, it'll be worth it. Love you Johnny.

If you start charging me for sex, I will know why.

As the daughter of mechanics, I say do what you love. You can always go get your MBA later.

Later is actually a better option, I read an article a few weeks ago that shocked me: The author interviewed HR personnel at major companies, and they admitted that for a great deal of positions, BS degrees or less are more desirable by employers because they know they can fill the positions and pay less money, and many HR people are concerned someone with a Master's Degree will make more demands.
